Rating: 8/10

Moira’s plot to kill Malcolm is underway as China White hires Deadshot to carry out the deed.

This episode had a high emphasis on Tommy, and it was okay! I guess he’s an alright character as long as his storyline actually relates to the main plot. It actually created a really compelling story showing his relationship between him and his father only to then have an assassination attempt on Malcolm happen right before Tommy’s eyes.

The problem with this episode is that it climaxes too early. The assassination attempt is over and done with and there’s still 10-15 minutes of screentime to fill. It just sort of drags on until it peters out. Not great form for any episode and they could have had something more exciting, like more clips of Oliver on the island, to fill the runtime.

SCORING:

+9: Almost a great episode

-1: ending just drags
