Laurel and her family keep trying to find if Sara is still alive. Meanwhile, a kidnapper is on a killing spree and Team Arrow will have to use all their resources to stop them. On the island, Oliver and Slade take on Lyons head on to rescue Shado, Yao Fay’s daughter.

This was a pretty good mystery episode with Arrow running all over the city. Much like I was complaining about 90s Flash, it’s just a tad annoying that we can’t guess at who might have been doing it as they don’t really set it up in a way that we can guess. I mean, I know it’s not possible for it to be, say, Quentin Lance or something, but it’d still be nice to show the killer in some context before we know he’s a murderer. I know it’s not really a mystery show, I just think there’s a better way to set this up.

Outside of that, which isn’t really a complaint. I’m just pointing it out. This episode was pretty exciting and interesting.

+10: Darn good for a mostly self-contained episode
