Moira Queen’s trial begins just as the Count breaks out of prison. Once Diggle is dosed with Vertigo, Oliver knows the Count is out but has to be present at his mother’s trial. Can he be the Arrow while also being a good son? On the island, Slade, Shado, and Dr. Ivo fight.

I think I’ve mentioned this before but superheroes and courtroom dramas mix really well. Maybe they should make a Law & Order: Gotham City or the like.

The stuff on the island, though brief, was very interesting and exciting. I’m hoping they’re setting up for another episode that takes place mostly on Lian Yu, personally.

Something I never noticed last time I went through the series was just how much Felicity and Oliver totally have a thing for each other. I mean, they do later on for sure, but I didn’t know that they at least starting shipping them as soon as the beginning of this season. Kind of makes Oliver sleeping with what’s-her-name last episode make him look like a bit of a douchebag though.

Also, one of this shows best villains comes back, and I’m not talking about the Count…
