Rating: 8/10

Barry Allen, a CSI from Central City, shows up to help Oliver investigate a break in at Queen Consolidated. On Lian Yu, Oliver, Sara, and Shado tries to find a miracle cure in order to save Slade’s life.

Apparently I finished 90s Flash at exactly the right time because this is when Grant Gustin as Barry Allen officially joins the Arrowverse. And he brings a little levity to the show, which actually works pretty well. Barry works as a good addition to this episode and I hope he somehow spins off into his own series somehow SPOILERS he does.

Moira Queen, after escaping the death penalty, is kind of boring now. Personally, I don’t really care about what a dark and shady past she has and it feels like they’re just shoehorning a plotline for her when one isn’t needed. It’s nice to see Malcolm on the show again, but the reasoning behind him being there feels kind of forced.

SCORING:

+8: Pretty good

+1: Grant Gustin is a good addition

-1: Moire Queen plotline fail
