Roy, out of his mind on Mirakuru, is out on the streets on some kind of rampage. Oliver and his crew has to stop him before he accidentally kills someone. Meanwhile, Moira tells Sebastian Blood that she’s dropping out of the race for mayor. In the past, Oliver gets a girl pregnant who isn’t his girlfriend.

Again, Sara’s the one willing to make the hard choices while Oliver tends to let his heart get in the way. It’s not really a question of who is right or wrong though but differences in styles. I like how both react as one of their friends goes totally nuts. And it’s always interesting to me to watch heroes fail.

I kind of feel for Moira in this one, but the flashbacks to the past keep her right in the realm of “I pretend to be a good mother but really, deep down, I’m an evil psycho.” Actually, that’s just like my mom, now that I think about it. It just bugs me that Moira is constantly on the fence, it seems, about whether she wants to be a good person or a really bad one, operating from the shadows. This was a good episode though, lots of intense moments.

SCORING;

+9: Pretty entertaining throughout for a more drama-based episode

+1: Heroes at their lowest points are always fascinating to me

-1: I wish the writers would decide what they want to do with Moira Queen

-1: Oh wait, they did!
