As Agent Daniel Sousa’s investigations turn up that Peggy is not the woman he thought she was, Agent Carter discovers a Russian plot to use female assassins to infiltrate America. Dottie, being one of these undercover assassins, continues her own investigation and gets new orders: kill Peggy Carter.
A lot of twists and turns in this one as everyone slowly gets closer to the truth. I like the dynamic of Carter searching for Dottie while the SSR searches for Carter, no one realizing the other isn’t who they say they are. Very intense and lots of action as tensions mount and Carter must go against the very organization that hired her.
I have one complaint about this episode. Carter spends a great deal avoiding the people looking for her, but in the end just tries to walk out the front door without even a disguise on or anything. When that doesn’t work out for her it’s not really a surprise. Peggy is smarter than this.
