Felicity takes over Palmer Tech in Ray’s absence. Meanwhile, both past and present Oliver have to deal with mistakes and consequences. As there is an attempted assassination on a candidate for mayor, Oliver and Thea start an investigation to find out who’s responsible. But in the process, Oliver sees how much the Lazarus Pit has affected Thea’s mind.

Wait? Hasn’t all this happened before? Mayor, or likely mayor, getting shot at? Yup, back in first season (and the second, and the third, this happens a lot…). Someone going crazy because of some magical healing thing? Uh-huh, that was season 2 with the Mirakuru and Roy. Felicity running a company into the ground? Well, it wasn’t Felicity but Oliver did run his family’s company into the ground over the first 3 seasons. The villain in this one is also kind of reminiscent of the original Vertigo, except with a bit more Kung Fu training.

Anyway, aside from the ideas feeling a bit rehashed, at least the action is pretty good.
