After Vandal Savage kills Carter and leaves Kendra in a critical state, secrets from Rip’s past come back to haunt him as he and Sara kidnap one of Savage’s assassins.
Sara Lance, who felt more like a side character in the two-part pilot, comes forward and offers advice to Rip but shows that she really belongs in more of a leadership role. She keeps a cool head in the toughest situations and can plan things out even when it seems like their stuck to the Wayfinder’s current captain. Anyway, sorry, didn’t mean to compliment my favorite character again, but it’s nice to see her get a pretty big part, plus she gets to kick some ass along the way.
Okay, I feel like I was just complaining about how this show doesn’t really do well with drama, but this is a decent, more dramatic, almost-a-bottle episode that really works with the cast and how they play the characters. So it can be done and I was wrong. My bad.

+10: Going for the more dramatic this time and it works
