Rating:

Shield orders two from Coulson’s team to infiltrate a Russian fortress and disable some dangerous tech. For this they need Fitz and Ward. But while they’re gone, Skye and Simmons illegally get clearance at Shield for a higher grade than they are, causing problems with their superiors.

This was well written. Which is not something I can really say about any episode before this one. I liked the Ward and Fitz parts which showcased how different they are from each other but also how they can work together as a team. This also was the first episode with some decent comedy that I laughed out loud at, so the comedy is getting better as well.

I just want to add that I’m completely on board with these characters now. Especially after this episode which has the right amount of tech, comedy, action, and spy-stuff, along with a great storyline to back it up. Hopefully this will continue and it’s not just some fluke…
