Centipede is back with an army of super-soldiers. Shield is going to have to recruit a previous enemy-turned-ally in the hopes of going up against such a destructive force.
This episode almost does everything right. It has a very strong plotline that follows on from a previous episode, with a few welcome surprises in the story, and makes it feel much less like “just another episode” which I still think is what’s dragging this show down the most right now. If they can keep it up, it might turn into something really good, but I’m going to think of this as more of a fluke until I’m proven otherwise.
The only place this episode is lacking is a few spots in the middle where the writers are trying to add character drama but just feels like its there to eat up time and extend the length of the show.
SCORING:
+10: A very entertaining episode which almost makes me like Ward again…almost…
-1: Just a few points that feel like they could have cut them and it wouldn’t have changed anything
