After Skye discovers Ward’s secret, she’s secretly working against him as he tries to get her to hack into something that Hydra needs. Meanwhile Coulson and team are desperately trying to get her back, and May is about to discover something about project T.A.H.I.T.I. that will blow the whole thing wide open.

I really liked this episode. Since we’re so close to the end of the season we know that things are only going to get more intense. With Shield dead and everyone involved now both fugitives and rogue agents, everything goes completely wrong! But in the most enjoyable way possible! There’s lots of action and adventure with enough intense scenes and I don’t know if anyone is safe. Ward nearly died and I was half sure they were just going to kill him off just while he was starting to get interesting. The season isn’t over yet, so I don’t think any character is safe.

The one part of this episode I was less impressed with was Fitz. Normally he’s fine, often funny, but here he’s being overly dramatic over the loss of Ward to Hydra. The problem is that I get the feeling Iain De Caestecker just doesn’t have the acting chops to cover this type of emotional range and what’s meant to be a very serious moment as a team member breaks down just comes off as humorous and unbelievable. I think Fitz is usually best having minor quips while he does science and secretly being in love with Simmons and should stay away from the more dramatic stuff.

+10: A very exciting and action-packed episode while Shield continues to crumble

-1: Fitz should stick to comedy and not unintentional comedy
